Plumbing & Tankage
Fresh Water
- Total capacity 78 gallons in 3 tanks:
- 19 gallon plastic tank under main cabin port berth
- 19 gallon plastic tank under main cabin starboard berth
- 40 gallon plastic tank forward under V-berth
- All tanks have inspection plates
- Port & starboard tanks were secured with steel straps, which
have rusted through. Tanks heve been resecured with adhesive foam.
- Port & starboard tank deck fills located outboard near mast.
Forward tank fill located on fore deck. A replaced cap has resulted
in needing two different size keys.
- All three tanks have separate gate valves, located under galley sink,
that connect them to the main fresh water manifold.
Owner's manual
recommends only opening one at a time.
- Footpump connected to manifold and discharges through dedicated
spout on galley sink.
- Pressure water pump intake connected to manifold
Pressure Water
- Pump is Jabsco PAR, Model 36850-1000
- Feeds cold-water faucets in galley sink, vanity sink, and shower
- Also feeds hot water heater through backflow preventer
- Powered from "Pumps" circuit on DC panel.

Galley Sink

Holding Tank & Y-Valve
- Small tank capacity (~10 gallons)
- Plastic, Outside Dimensions 20" x 14" x 12"
- Holding tank and Y-valve located under a cover under the cushion in
V-berth starboard side.
- Jabsco Y-valve
- Y-valve receives discharge from head and routes it to either holding tank
or overboard via a seacock.
- Bronze discharge seacock located in V-berth near floor, behind a small
access door on the starboard side. 1 3/4 OD hose.
- Holding tank pumpout via a deck plate labeled "waste" on starboard side. 1 3/4" OD hose.
- Holding tank vent located on hull on starboard forward side, just below toerail.
